We Got Cookies designs, prototypes, tests, produces and customises its leather body accessories in Stockholm. The studio is where an idea meets leather, hardware, an actual human body and, occasionally, a better idea than the one we started with.
That closeness matters. It means we can obsess over line, movement, balance and fit instead of sending a drawing away and hoping for the best.
We work with vegetable-tanned leather from Tärnsjö Garveri. It is beautiful on day one and considerably more interesting after it has lived with you for a while.
Vegetable-tanned leather develops patina instead of pretending time is not happening. We like that. Your piece should become more yours, not less.
Making locally lets us stay close to the thing that matters most: how the piece feels, moves and behaves on the person wearing it.
It also makes made-to-measure possible without turning it into a grand luxury ritual with a grand luxury surcharge. If you need a harness made to your measurements, we do that.
Whether we are making a belt for a Tuesday afternoon, a harness for a Saturday night or something whose plans are nobody else’s business, the standard is the same.
